Lensatic Military Compass
This is replica of a British-made compass used in military, but also by engineers, surveyors, etc.
This fine piece offers precise measurements, it has targeting slit, and a locking mechanism. It offers everything a good compass should have, including rotating bezel and attractive glow in the dark display (green markings glow at night).
The compass card has both the standard 0 - 360 degree scale, as well as the 0 - 64 Mil scale (one yard at 1,000 yards). When it is folded, it is mall enough to fit inside your pocket just over 2" diameter.

Compass with Sundial
Fine brass antique replica of an old English (Marked West London) sundial with a magnetic compass. The top of the sundial is mounted on a hinge, and a curved scale is used to set your local latitude angle. The compass has a needle lift mechanism to protect its jeweled bearing when being transported, and to set the needle if required. The magnetic compass allows the sundial to be oriented North. The body of this fine sundial is mounted on three precise leveling screws. The sun's shadow cast by the sundial's vane marks the local time. The top can be opened for easier access to the compass (see enlargement picture). All top pieces fold down for your convenience. Diameter of this large unit is over 4". Out of stock!

Gimbaled Ship's Compass
This is a real beauty! Set in attractive rosewood box with brass-enforced corners and locking pad, it is another fine replica of antique brass British compass. Air damped, gimbaled, with a large compass card, it is on of once very popular designs, used on ships world wide. Gimbaled Binnacle Compass
Mounted in a brass, weather resistant helmet, it was used mainly in lifeboats, Air-damped, large compass is lit with a small oil lamp, placed in a special compartment on the right side. On picture you see the oil lamp removed, Helmet has a brass ring on top for easy holding. Compass dial size is 4", and the whole helmet is almost 8" in diameter. Such piece was recently used on "Pirates of Caribbean" movie. It makes excellent nautical accent, and is fully functional (although it is not intended for professional use).

Desk Compass with Spherical Clock
Brass compass on a heavy base holds an attractive clock, with ball-shaped crystal, creating nice magnifying effect. Clock face is a replica of old ship clock, marked "Ship Regulator 1939".
Back of the clock is similarly finished, which adds to the unique look of this fine, battery powered clock. The whole combo is over 5" high.
