The famous Syrian silk brocade (called there "Brocard") is perhaps one of the most opulent and luxurious products of the orient. Extraordinary richness and thickness of this fabric, intense colors of natural dyes, intricate, centuries-old patterns, and fantastic quality of workmanship, combine to create a product without parallel. The overall quality is far superior to any known silks from other countries, and we know for a fact that a certain top French designer salon sells it at around $300 US Dollars per meter of the fabric!

Too expensive? Only two small factories in Damascus that still make them using traditional methods remain active. The process is so demanding and time consuming that a single person makes an average of just one meter a day, using the very finest silk and golden thread. The knots are tied very tight, like in the best oriental carpets. Consequently, availability of this brocade is inevitably very limited, and that, combined with its exceptional quality and high market demand, pushes the prices up. It can't be compared with Chinese mass produced brocade, and other oriental silks. Much thicker, with richer colors and luxurious texture. Simply the top in its class...

Made of silk brocades mixed with satin and other shiny fabrics, these pillows look luxuriously opulent, elegant and are very comfortable! SILK BROCADE SHAWLS AND TIES

Hand made in Syria of hand woven silk brocades, these shawls are real rare treasures! You simply don't see things like that any more. Stunning quality, incredible detail, attractive patterns - these shawls are incredible addition to any elegant dress... They change color depending on light angle, adding to their uniqueness... They are hard to photograph, as Syrian brocade has reflective, almost holographic qualities similar to peacock feathers. Of curse, they look much more impressive in reality than on pictures.
Shawl designs available: Arabesque - very old, complicated design with lots of interacting colors and shapes. Floral - fine, delicate pattern. In the purple version it changes colors in an incredible way.
Paisley - famous in England (but originated in the East), called in Syria Cashmere design. Available in few spectacular combinations of colors. Turquoise - very delicate, elegant pattern in incredible, rich colors. These are simply the best designs available.
